An air-conditioning technician was working in a residential building in Florida where he discovered a wall that looked different from the others in the garage. On pushing it open, he discovered a secret passage that led to a room.
The room was carpeted with a few empty pizza boxes strewn on the floor, and there were openings on the wooden wall for air circulation. There was also a makeshift male toilet.
The technician said it was easy to overlook the room from the outside. “This is crazy! I’ve never seen anything like this in my life!” he exclaimed.
When he posted a video of his findings on the internet, there were a lot of heated discussions, with one netizen claiming that the previous owner of the house was DeeDee Moore, a criminal nicknamed ‘the Lotto killer’. She was committed in 2012 of homicide, and her victim was a truck driver by the name of Abraham Shakespeare.
Apparently, Shakespeare won a US$31-million lotto prize in 2006, and later befriended Moore. When she learned of his fortune, she volunteered to be the publisher of his life story, as well as his financial consultant. She eventually murdered him for the money, a case that stunned the nation.
The netizen said this secret room might well be the place where Moore imprisoned Shakespeare.
