A Thailand woman recently reported to police that her 16-year-old daughter, who has been missing for five years, had delivered her a message through her dream to reveal the murder and where her body was burried. To everyone’s surprise, local police did find a skeleton at the alleged location.
Police soon arrested a few suspects, including 45-year-old Krisana Suwanphithak, the missing girl’s former employer and former beauty pageant contestant. Suwanphithak has admitted beating the victim to death and buried her body.
Janthira Srisak, the victim’s mother, said that her daughter was introduced by a friend to work as a domestic helper for a family in Bangkok in February 2011. She recalled that the middleman had promised to take care of her daughter and take her home every week. In the first two months of the employment, her daughter called back using the employer’s phone twice, before the last call in April 13 when she expressed her desire to go home.
Not hearing from her daughter for a while, Srisak contacted the middleman, but failed to get in touch with the employer. She heard no news of her daughter until recently when she was notified by an unidentified witness that the girl was severely abused by employer when she was alive. Srisak then told a story of how she found out her girl was killed and buried in a dream to police.
Local police initially filed the case into a missing person report, which had no further progress afterwards, until they found a bag of dismembered skeleton, hair and clothes one-meter underground in the location alleged by the mother. Although it still needs a DNA test to confirm the identity of the victim, Srisak is certain the clothes and the hair belong to her daughter.
