The little "Geeta" from the popular India movie "Dangal", Zaira Wasim, 17, decried a man who molested her on a plane by touching her back and neck with his foot.
Wasim exposed her tortured experience in a video, saying that “middle-aged man” sitting behind her repeatedly moved his foot up and down her neck and back. At first, she mistook it for air turbulence until she realized it was a man's foot!
“He kept nudging my shoulder and continued to move his foot up and down my back and neck." She couldn't hold back her tears, “Is this how we are going to take care of girls?”
Wasim tried to film the man’s sickening behavior but couldn’t because it was too dark.
Air Vistara said it had launched a detailed investigation and had submitted an incident report to regulators and police. A 39-year-old senior executive of a media and entertainment company has now been arrested.
