A 24-year-old woman was forced to walk naked after her boyfriend Jason Melo read her intimate message exchanges with other men and became furious with jealousy. Melo even filmed her initially wrapped in a bath towel and later completely stripped, and dodging in between cars.
“He choked me and I couldn’t even breathe,” she recalls. She was abused for two hours before being forced onto the streets. He even threatened to kill her.
Melo, now 26, is charged with coercion, assault, aggravated harassment, menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing and others.
