This year India welcomed a sweet girl to sing and perform!
A Japanese girl, who once was a member of an underground idol group in university, went to India to promote Japanese pop culture as well as to sing her original songs.
Haru, from Hamada in Shimane Prefecture, studied in The University of Tokyo. Though she was once a member of the underground idol group, she quit after three months as she didn’t want to become an idol who had been created by others.
The company she is now working for in India is involved in comics with coffee, and she is planning to organize an Indian idol group.
Haru sometimes preforms in the cafe and goes to different local spots for her music video shooting. Other than promoting Japanese pop culture, she also recruits local people to become members of the idol group.
She will go back to school in Japan after finishing all the work in December. She hopes that she can go back to India again to be an idol next year.
