A 25-year-old woman gave birth to a baby Emma Wren Gibson using an embryo that was frozen in 14 Oct 1992.

Twenty-five years later, the mother, Tina Gibson found the National Embryo Donation Center in Knoxville, to defrost the embryo on 13 March.

"Emma is such a sweet miracle," Tina's husband, Benjamin Gibson said. "I think she looks pretty perfect to have been frozen all those years ago."

The baby is believed the longest frozen embryo that came to a successful birth. Tina, who has turned 26, had her birth in the same year as the embryo had.

She joked, "Do you realize I’m only 25? This embryo and I could have been best friends."
