A cute seal cub gives a wave to the camera as it makes its way across the ice on Lake Baikal.
Photographer, Sergey Anisimov, 56, from Russia, got up close with the little bundle of fluff, on Olkhon Island, Russia.
He said: “That year my friends invited me to the adventurous journey to Baikal lake.
“We made our way on the ice from northern side to the center of the lake where the Olkhon Island is located.
“It took us seven days to travel on the spring ice, we were extremely lucky with circumstances and weather conditions so we managed to take pictures of the Baikal seal baby.”
Sergey has been a photographer since 2004 since buying his first camera.
The aviation radio engineer said: “I consider myself to be a travel photographer. I shoot wildlife, landscapes, and also I like to shoot genre photos with people.”
