Four baby seal bodies were lying on the beach of Norfolk, UK. The manager of a local seal care institution Peter Ansell guessed the seals died because they were abandoned by mother.
As visitors came too close to the seal and scared away the mother seal, the baby seals were left to starve to death or freeze to death.
The four dead seals were only about two weeks' old, and all of them were unweaned, which meant they were incapable of taking care of themselves.
Ansell added that visitors should not be too close to the seals. He hoped to find more volunteers to explain to the public about the bad influence on seals harassment.
