Teenager tricked by mom to be raped by old obese man

The sickening mom smoked outside the room as her daughter was abused.

Peta Butler was just 16 years old when she suffered the most terrible ordeal in life: she was raped by a fat, bald man three times of her age. The most disgusting thing is that it was a scheme by her own mother Therese Butler.

Peta's mother.

In 2005, Brisbane, Peta was surprised that mother offered to take her out for a 'girls trip'. She didn't realize anything wrong as she was taken to a cheap before being plied with alcohol. But then came her nightmare, Therese's boyfriend called Thommo.

Thommo raped the teenager cruelly while her mom smoked outside the room, listening and doing nothing to help.

'He never said anything ... I felt his face stubble. He had face stubble, feeling that. And I still remember the smell of him. I still remember.'Peta couldn't help weeping as she was interviewed and exposed the crime.

Therese 47, was sentenced to four years suspended after 12 months. But the police were still searching for Therese, the attacker whose computer-generated image has been released.

Therese was a 'serial online dater' who had contact with Thommo for two years before the attack. She said Thommo had threatened to cut contact with her unless she could find him a 'younger version of herself' for him to rape.

'It only lasted for a couple of minutes. But while he was raping me I had my head turned to the side and eyes closed while crying.' Peta can never forget the devastating memory.

The young girl didn't know how to deal with the abuse until two years ago she made up her mind to speak out and reported to police.

In a 30-minute phone call by detectives,  Therese confessed her crime. She told her daughter: 'It was still rape but you were 16. I wouldn't let him touch you under 16 no way.'

Therese 47, was sentenced to four years suspended after 12 months. But the police were still searching for Therese, the attacker whose computer-generated image has been released.

As Therese was arrested, more sickening details have been dug out.

Therese was a 'serial online dater' who had contact with Thommo for two years before the attack. She said Thommo had threatened to cut contact with her unless she could find him a 'younger version of herself' for him to rape.

The twisted mom obeyed. And the police believed there may be other victims besides Peta.

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina (AP) — Law enforcement officers in Bosnia arrested 23 people suspected of belonging to a “global drug kingpin's inner circle,” including police and security officials, in a clampdown on criminal networks controlling much of Europe’s cocaine trade, authorities said Tuesday.

Europol, the European Union's law enforcement agency, and Bosnian officials said the suspects were detained Monday as security forces searched their homes and other locations. They are suspected of drug trafficking, money laundering and other organized crime offenses, officials said.

“Among the 23 persons arrested yesterday are not only accomplices, but also corrupt officials identified as facilitators of the network’s criminal activities,” Europol said in a statement.

The 23 are suspected of being part of the “inner circle” of a drug kingpin arrested in 2022 and sentenced to seven years in prison a year later in the Netherlands, it said.

Police seized guns, money, cars, laptops and other evidence during the raids.

Bosnian authorities had previously arrested two other people and seized 55,000 euros ($58,000), eight firearms, 11 police radios and money-laundering documentation, Europol said.

It said Monday's arrests were “another milestone” in the fight against the alliance of criminal networks.

Agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and FBI also participated in the operation, it said.

In Bosnia, the state security agency SIPA said authorities temporarily froze bank accounts belonging to the suspects and halted any financial transactions.

It said evidence against the group included encrypted phone conversations.
