An amazing that a group of swimmers, beachgoers, professions gathering on Argentinian coast to help a beached humpback whale to get back to the ocean has been captured and went viral on the internet. 

The whale was found on the beach at Punta Mogates in Mar del Plata on Saturday afternoon. Hundreds of beachgoers and emergency services professionals volunteer to help put the sea creature back to the water. 

The can be seen splashing water on the whale's body to make it breathe.

Rescuers use a machine and crane to lift the heavy 8-metre animal and tide doesn't stop the crowd saving it. Two-day effort has been put even with only little sign of progress.

An environmental official said, "It is not clear if the whale had a

"problem or whether it became disorientated for some reason.

The conservationist said it 's rare to see humpback whales in this area. They said it may come to shore because of an illness.

Despite the help of the tugboat, the rescue teams say they still need the help of volunteers, local residents as well as tourists to join them with buckets and spades to remove the sand to make sure the creature reach a sufficient depth to move it.
