Liz brought Norman to the local vet in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina. The animal was believed had been abandoned up to 4-days so it was severely malnourished.

Liz and sister now treat the cut on the dog with vitamin C oil while vets believe the hair would never grow up on the wounded tissue caused by the zip tie.

Norman is getting along with her other dog Jackson, a four-year-old beagle.

"My other dog Jackson usually hates other dogs but he seems to really like Norman's sweet and timid demeanor," said Liz. "They get along so well. We're struggling with potty training at the moment but I think that's the case with all new puppies."
