Waterspout? Camera first!
Nowadays, people love recording life details by taking pictures and videos so the can share the wonderful memories with others any time.
In Russia, a fisherman used his camera to capture the life-threatening moment when he went out to sea and surprisingly witnessed waterspouts twice. Even facing the crisis of being swept away, he couldn’t help shoot a video to record the spectacular moment.
On 16 July, when fisherman Pavel Chernyavsky went out fishing on Gelendzhik off the coast of the Black Sea, he saw a waterspout about 500 meters away from him, seemly moving straight to him. Realizing the rare opportunity to witness the spectacle at a close range, Chernyavsky immediately took out the camera.
The waterspout first rolled up the sea and finally turned into white spray, which was stunning indeed. Later, Cheyavski saw another waterspout, but the spray was deeper in color and different from the previous one.
After uploading the video to a social networking site, he checked his fishing boat the next day and found there were a lot of scratches on the hull due to the fierce collision. In the commentary of the video, he said, "I want to show you the results of experiencing a waterspout. We are still alive, what a miracle."
