近年来澳洲入籍考试备受争议。一项调查显示,在2018年顺利入籍的澳人中,有超1200人曾经历过3次失败。

同年在85269名申请人中,有4807人未能通过考试。审计报告显示,在过去4年里,等待入籍申请获批的人数猛增771%。截至2018年6月30日,共有244765人还在等待结果。

此外,澳洲政府还计划出台新的法规,如果申请者3次考不过,那么两年内都不得参加入籍考试。

考试通过率极低,再加上移民部门批准处理速度慢,令越来越多的人质疑测试系统的有效性。
