Selfies are all the rage as netizens habitually post their daily life shots on the internet. An Aussie internet idol can earn as much as US$1.5 million per selfie she puts online, but she also takes the opportunity to propagate some positive energy.
22-year old Sjana Elise Earp has about 1.3 million fans on Instagram. As the numbers grow, she has started to act as spokesperson for some well-known brands, making her a multi-millionaire at her tender age.
Earp previously suffered from depression in her mid-teens, and had even attempted suicide. When she was recovering in a mental hospital, she finally saw the light and found the will to live. She pointed out that depression could make a person lose temper and feel unhappy, so she took up yoga which enabled her to now lead a healthy and happy life, and she didn’t mind sharing her positive energy with netizens.
Earp now travels the world and shares her health tips, yoga techniques, fashion sense and gastronomic delights with her fans. She says she constantly receives messages of gratitude for her positive messages which help others overcome their hurdles in life.
“I’ve overcome many difficulties that others may not have experienced. In sharing, I hope to be of help. That’s why I’m trying my best to spread the love and the smiles.”
