Diver Encountered A Huge Great White Shark and Survive

Eugene van Wyngaardt was out spearfishing over the Deep Pinnacles reef in Port Elizabeth, South Africa when he spotted a huge great white shark just a few feet away from him.

Eugene had to prod it with his spear gun, both to push himself away from it and to try to deter the monster. Fortunately, the shark moved away, giving him time to swim to the boat and frantically climb aboard.
