Maksud Khan, 35, from India, went to the hospital after suffering an intense stomachache. His surgeon found out that food poisoning was not the cause, but 7 kg of foreign objects.

The three-wheeler driver was used to swallowing coins paid to him as fare. If he started choking, he would drink some water to help swallow them

Priyank Sharma, who led the surgical team, said 100 nails, 263 coins, several shaving blades a pair of  6-inch rusted shackles, broken glass and stones were found in his stomach. Shocked, he said the team had never come across similar cases before.

Now the man is out of danger. Some nails have pierced his stomach, but doctors say he should be able to recover.
