Too hot to wear too much!
As extremely heat wave sweeps Australia, Sydney citizens and tourists rush to the famous Bondi Beach, take off the cumbersome clothing and jump into the cool sea water surfing, or lying in the sun and enjoying the sunbathing.
The temperature in Sydney exceeded 40 degrees Celsius for four days since Jan 19th. People in Western Sydney continued to experience the heat wave in particular. At the same time, the UV index in Sydney reached the "extreme" level, resulting in a higher risk of fire. The government recommended that residents should stay at home and take in a large amount of water.
Meteorologists had called for every Australian inhabitant to drink plenty of water, eat cold meals, avoid strenuous exercise and stay in the shade or in air-conditioned buildings under the "extremely hot weather". The outdoor population must pay attention to measures of protection from the sun.
