He has his reasons for the mistakes!

A 69-year-old North Wales pensioner crashed his car into a bathroom on the second floor of a house and the vehicle left dangling on the scene.

The old man, Geoff Ludden, admitted careless driving and was banned his license for three months and fined £250. Magistrates told Ludden that it was a very serious offence even though there were no serious injuries in the case. Magistrates also reminded Ludden to protect the public despite the ban on his driving and his disabled son.

The car dangling 20 feet over a walkway between the road and the ground. According to prosecutor Shaun Barlett-Evans, the firefighters rescued him through the rear door. 

The defendant was picking up his son, David had cerebral palsy, when the incident happened. He lost control and crashed into the house though shrubbery on 18 Sept last year when he was trying to turn around. His car was left balancing between the fixed wall and the house wall, causing serious damage. 

Ludden was taken to hospital and it took an hour to make the vehicle safe and suffered extensive bruising.

Ludden pleaded magistrates not to disqualify him because of the impact it would have on his disabled son.
