Elephants joint trunks together to save partner who fells into the water

Humanised animals!

This is an adorable moment a herd of elephants helped a baby calf who fell into the river by joining their trunks together.

The innocuous accident happened in the Kruger National Park in South Africa when the herd were drinking water by the river. The baby elephant fell into the water and the mother and others immediately worked together to save it.

The film was taken by Jaques Joubert, 55, and Michelle Broadhurs, 49. Jaques said that the elephants were drinking water since the weather was hot.

When the little elephant stumbled, the mother did not seem to worry even if the baby seemed unable to get out of the water by itself. She just calmly tried to use her nose to pull the child out of the water, but it was not unsuccessful. Other elephants couldn't help offer help with their trunks.

Jaques said that he intended to seek help from the staff, but after seeing the mother elephant calmly walked into the river and successfully pulled the little animal out of the water. He lamented, “Elephants are great animals, and humans should learn from them. "
