She felt the vehicle was abnormal so she parked the car to the side of the road and opened the hood to check it. She was surprised to see a three-meter-long python in the car.

To help the snake leave the car, policemen and snake experts were called to the scene to pull the reptile out.

According to reports, the woman had asked police for help after seeing the snake. Police found the animal wrapped its body to the engine tight so that they had to ask for more support.

Finally, two police cars, trailer, a few policemen and a snake catcher arrived at the scene. The experienced catcher held the head of the snake with others' help to drag it out.

The police in the town later posted a message on Facebook, saying that "You will never know what will happen when patrolling in this small town of about 3,500 residents."

They also pointed out that the python was of the non-toxic species from Africa. It is strong and safe now but was a little frightened after being pulled.

Steve Keller, the snake-catcher who claims to have more than 30 snakes at home, volunteered to adopt the python. However, according to local regulations, it is illegal to have a foreign pet, or the legal regulations decide if the animal can be taken home, or else he may be fined.

Now the police said that if Steve is willing to pay for the maintenance of the car, he will not be punished.
