Suspected of not letting pregnant wife raise pet, husband throws cat and dog from 21st floor

The two animals died on the spot.

In a housing estate in Shapingba, Chongqing, a cat and a dog were found dead on a building's platform a few days ago. It is suspected that their owner threw them for the 21st floor. The owner has not appeared yet, and the kind neighbour helped to bury the animals' corpse.

On the 6th this month, residents found a cat and a dog were lying on the ground floor of a housing estate in Shapingba. According to local reports, the incident happened because the female owner was pregnant. The male owner did not want to raise the pet because his wife had experienced a miscarriage.

The two had a dispute and the man was believed being emotional to throw the golden retriever and the pregnant cat off the street from the 21st floor. The two animals died on the spot.

Afterwards, one of the man's neighbors said she would see Golden Retriever, named Jack when walking her own dogs on weekdays. She felt sad after knowing about the incident. She saw Jack and the cat slammed on the ground so she quickly contacted their masters, but they did not want to take the animals' body back. She then went to knocked on the door with a few other people and the staff of the property management, but still, no one responded. Finally, they buried the two mammals themselves.

The incident has raised the attention of many netizens slamming the male owner abusing animals and doxxing him online.

"This kind of people should never raise a child," one said.
