Oscars producers say the show is in 'good shape' for Sunday

Academy Awards producers Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss say that the 91st Oscars are in good shape for Sunday.

In an interview with The Associated Press Thursday, both said they are feeling confident about the look, the flow and the presenters, which include A-listers and legends like Barbra Streisand, and even a few from outside of the movie business, like Serena Williams.

It's been a tumultuous few months for Hollywood's biggest show , from Kevin Hart dropping out as host to the all-out revolt when the lineup of four awards that would be presented during commercial breaks was announced.

But Gigliotti and Weiss are promising an exciting evening that will kick off with a performance from Queen and Adam Lambert.

The Oscars will air Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern.
