The dog was brought to the surface by emergency services in Sicily.
A puppy which fell down a well is recovering after being rescued by firefighters.
According to local reports, the puppy fell in after escaping from its owner in Petralia Sottana, a town in the north of the Italian island.

Emergency services were able to climb down with a long ladder to scoop up the puppy.
Vigili del Fuoco, Italy’s fire and rescue service, posted a video of the rescue on Twitter, showing a relieved-looking puppy being brought to the surface.
