A rain-soaked hillside collapsed onto a house in central Mexico, killing six people, including two children, authorities said Thursday.

The civil defense office in the city of Puebla said 11 other people suffered panic attacks because of the mudslide late Wednesday.

The slide occurred in Santo Tomas Chautla, a village on the outskirts of the city, which is the capital of Puebla state.
