Carson Kelly hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the eighth inning, part of a three-run rally that sent the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Monday night.
David Peralta added a two-run triple in the eighth, making a winner of reliever Yoan Lopez (2-5) after he got two outs in the top of the inning. Wade Davis (1-6) took the loss after giving up Kelly's home run.

Archie Bradley allowed Charlie Blackmon's 27th home run in the ninth but earned his fifth save. Arizona climbed back to .500 at 63-63, while the Rockies' four-game winning streak ended.
One out later, Marte drove Gonzalez's fastball beyond the pool deck in right-center for 26th home run to give Arizona a 2-1 lead.
After three scoreless innings, Gallen struggled to find the strike zone. He struck out the first two hitters in the fourth, but loaded the bases on a single and two walks. Wolters drew the third walk of the inning, allowing Murphy to trot home with the game's first run.
The Rockies claimed right-hander Wes Parsons off waivers from Atlanta and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque. Parsons was designated for assignment Friday by the Braves. Right-hander Scott Oberg was transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL after being treated for a blood clot in his pitching arm for the second time in his career Saturday.

Ketel Marte also homered and starter Zac Gallen allowed a run and five hits over six innings in his third start for the Diamondbacks since arriving in a trade with Miami on July 31. He struck out eight and walked six.

Tony Wolters had two hits and two RBIs for the Rockies. Chi Chi Gonzalez held the Diamondbacks hitless for five innings before Kelly lined a first-pitch single to center field to open the sixth.
The next batter, pinch-hitter Josh Rojas, hit a fly ball toward the left-field corner that looked as though it would fall for a hit. But outfielder Raimel Tapia made a long run and a diving catch as he hit the turf.

The Rockies tied it in the eighth against reliever Andrew Chafin. Daniel Murphy led off with a single, Ryan McMahon singled with one out and Wolters drove in Murphy with a base hit.
But then Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed, who an inning earlier leaped to catch Trevor Story's line drive, keyed a 1-6-3 double play with a rushed but accurate throw.

SPRING FOES AND MATES
The Diamondbacks and Rockies announced their 2020 spring training schedules Monday, and will open exhibition play against each other on Feb. 22 at Salt River Fields in nearby Scottsdale, a facility the two teams share. It will mark the 10th season of spring training at the complex, which the two teams have shared since it opened in February 2011.

Rockies: Wolters came up limping after trying to throw out Jarrod Dyson at second base on a steal attempt in the eighth. Wolters' throw sailed into center field for an error.

Rockies: LHP Kyle Freeland (3-10, 7.09 ERA) is set to face the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night. In three starts against Arizona this season, he has allowed at least five runs in each.
