Wales will be without star winger Josh Adams for its final two matches in the Six Nations after he was ruled out for 12 weeks with an ankle injury.
Adams, the top try scorer at last year's Rugby World Cup, was hurt in a tackle by France's Virimi Vakatawa in the 27-23 loss to Les Tricolores on Saturday and will undergo surgery this week, the Welsh Rugby Union said on Tuesday.
Wales, the defending champion, is out of contention for the Six Nations title having also lost to Ireland in round two. The team's remaining games are against England and Scotland.

Wales has another injury concern over fellow winger George North, who came off with a concussion against France and is going through graduated return-to-play protocols this week. Another high-profile back, Liam Williams, has been recovering from an ankle injury since the World Cup.
