The Chinese women's football team left here on Monday for South Korea to participate in the Olympic qualifying playoff.

The team held their last training session on Monday morning just before they left the Suzhou Taihu Football Center in Jiangsu Province for the Pudong International Airport.

The Chinese team will play away against South Korea at the Goyang Stadium on April 8 before coming back to Suzhou for the return leg on April 13. Both matches will kick off at 16:00 local time.

The winners between China and South Korea will join Australia and hosts Japan in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics scheduled for July 23 to August 8.

Since March 2020, the matches between China and South Korea have been rescheduled four times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
