High-level delegates from nearly 50 countries and regions on Tuesday met at the World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum in Xi'an City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, to explore cross-border e-commerce and digital advancement.
Attendees included government officials, international organizations, businesses, NGOs, and academics.
At the forum, attendees explored current trends, practices, and challenges within the cross-border e-commerce industry chain. They discussed innovative strategies to enhance global e-commerce development, sharing insights and identifying collaborative opportunities for advancement in the sector.

"The World Internet Conference's cross-border e-commerce working group will host a seminar focused on evaluating the competitiveness of cross-border e-commerce, and release a collection of case studies to facilitate exchange and sharing. This initiative is designed to offer practical insights for innovation and global branding within the cross-border e-commerce sector and to promote the sharing of benefits from the digital era across different nations," said Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the World Internet Conference.
