The visiting Prime Minister of Grenada Dickon Mitchell laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on Monday morning.
Mitchell arrived in the Chinese capital on Saturday to begin a seven-day official visit to the country.
During his week-long stay in China, the Grenadian prime minister is set to travel to east China's Zhejiang Province, known as a tech and innovation hub, as well as pay a visit to the financial hub Shanghai.
Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Mitchell in Beijing on Monday.
Jan 20 this year marks the 20th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Grenada.
