The new game title Abyss of Dungeons refers to the deep and dark dungeons that serve as the game’s setting, symbolizing its core gameplay — exploring the unknown and fiercely fighting to survive. KRAFTON plans to gradually roll out the new name and logo across the game in the June update.

Abyss of Dungeons began its soft launch in the U.S. and Canada in February this year. Since then, KRAFTON has maintained close communication with North American players, implementing their feedback to introduce a range of new features — including a PvP Arena Mode, PvE Boss Gauntlet, Soulstone system, and the Stat Tree system that enhances character growth based on level progression. These updates have received a positive response from the community.

Driven by continued engagement with players and a commitment to delivering a more polished gameplay experience and higher service quality, KRAFTON decided to expand the soft launch service of Abyss of Dungeons to Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, and Mexico.

Joonseok Ahn, Executive Producer of Abyss of Dungeons, said, “We believe the new title Abyss of Dungeons better conveys the game’s identity, genre-specific characteristics, and unique atmosphere to players. We will continue listening to player feedback and strive to reflect it within the game.”

Abyss of Dungeons is an extraction RPG focused on the thrill of escape, combining the survival elements of battle royale with the exploration-driven gameplay of dungeon crawlers. Drawing on KRAFTON’s extensive experience in the global mobile gaming market, the game has been optimized for mobile platforms with intuitive controls tailored for mobile users.

Abyss of Dungeons is currently available for global pre-registration. For more information, please visit the official social media channels: YouTube, X and TikTok.

ISLAMABAD (AP) — A gas cylinder explosion early Sunday after a wedding reception at a home in Pakistan’s capital killed at least eight people, including the bride and groom, police and officials said.

The blast occurred as guests who had gathered to celebrate the couple were sleeping at the house, causing part of the house to collapse, according to the Islamabad police. Seven people were injured.

In a statement, police said the explosion occurred in a residential area in the heart of the city. A government administrator, Sahibzada Yousaf, said authorities were alerted about the blast early Sunday and officers are still investigating. He said some nearby homes were also damaged.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over the loss of lives and offered condolences to the victims’ families, according to a statement from his office. He directed health authorities to ensure the injured receive the best possible treatment and ordered a full investigation.

Many Pakistani households rely on liquefied petroleum gas cylinders because of low natural gas pressure, and such cylinders have been linked to deadly accidents caused by gas leaks. Police said investigations were ongoing.
