The newly appointed CEO of the Company, Mr. Pek Hak Bin ("Mr. Pek"), emphasizes the significant growth opportunities for homegrown green energy companies like H2G as they help meet the accelerating demand for clean energy in Singapore and the broader regional market. H2G specifically focuses on biomass-to-hydrogen development and expanding utilisation of liquefied natural gas ("LNG").

Domestic firms powering the energy transition

As Singapore's energy consumption grows, the nation is intensifying efforts to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 while also shoring up energy security. Starting in 2013, imported LNG has contributed significantly to both aims, as the country strives to become an LNG hub[i]. Hydrogen is also poised to become a cornerstone of Singapore's clean energy mix once scalable solutions are achieved.
