China Media Group (CMG) and the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) will enhance cooperation to promote equestrian culture and events in China.

The consensus was reached during a meeting between a CMG delegation and FEI President Ingmar De Vos Monday in Lausanne.

CMG looks forward to further deepening cooperation with FEI, intensifying the promotion of events, and jointly promoting new development of equestrian culture and equestrian sports in China.

CMG is willing to join hands with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), to which the FEI is affiliated, to further explore cooperation in areas such as broadcasting and reporting of equestrian-related Olympic events, program production, and the promotion of the projects.

De Vos welcomed the delegation from CMG to the FEI headquarters, stating that CMG is an important partner of FEI and has played an irreplaceable role in promoting and popularizing equestrianism in China. It is expected that more top international equestrian competitions will be held in China in the future.

FEI was founded in 1921 and Chinese Equestrian Association joined it in 1982.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil issued a statement on Saturday, saying that the security alert released by the U.S. Department of State regarding Venezuela is based on false claims that do not exist and is intended to create a perception of risk that is not real.

According to the statement posted on Gil's official X account, Venezuela is currently in a state of absolute calm, peace and stability.

All residential areas, transportation routes, checkpoints and security facilities in the country are functioning normally, and all armed forces nationwide are under the government's control.

The statement came after the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs on Saturday warned that as international flights have resumed, U.S. citizens in Venezuela "should leave the country immediately."
