Vast sunflower fields in Lianyungang City, east China's Jiangsu Province, are in full bloom, presenting a dazzling canvas of golden hues and attracting visitors to immerse themselves in this summer spectacle.
The sunflower fields cover over 160 mu (10.67 hectares), and are located at Yueya Island Wetland Park, boasting 400,000 sunflowers.
"The sunflowers are in full bloom, so I brought my child here to enjoy the view," said one visitor.
"I traveled here from Nanjing and heard from a friend that the sunflowers here were blooming. It's truly magnificent," said another visitor.
The sunflowers planted at the park are a dwarf variety of American oil sunflower, with a blooming period of about 20 days.
After the blooming season, the sunflower seeds will be harvested for oil production, generating a dual economic value for the city.
