Final preparations are nearly complete at Beijing’s Tian’anmen Square as the city gears up for the upcoming commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, scheduled for September 3.

Red carpets, a grand viewing platform, and decorative elements are already in place, creating a setting that is both solemn and majestic.

The setup features a striking color scheme of yellow, red, and green, giving the area a dignified yet vibrant atmosphere.

The temporary viewing platform, capable of accommodating 37,000 people, is designed to symbolize unity among all people. Notably, 14 decorative doves are placed on the commemorative structures, representing the 14-year-long war of resistance.

Together with the spectator seating on both sides of Chang'an Avenue, the total spectator capacity exceeds 50,000.

To enhance the audience's viewing experience, the first row of the temporary viewing platform is positioned closer to Chang'an Avenue than in previous events. Additionally, the seats have been ergonomically designed to provide greater comfort for attendees.
