Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Friday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.73 percent to close at 26,290.32 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 1.80 percent to end at 9,358.32 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index plummeted 3.27 percent to 6,259.75 points.

The death toll in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip has risen to 71,441 since the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on Oct 7, 2023, with the number of injuries reaching 171,329, said Gaza's health authorities on Thursday.
