The troops also struck Ukrainian military equipment storage points and temporary bases of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries, killing and wounding more than 1,000 people on different fronts.

They also destroyed Ukrainian tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, vehicles and other targets, said the ministry, adding that Russian air defense systems have shot down 95 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian forces have engaged in 108 combat clashes with Russian troops since midnight, and the Russian forces continued to exert the most pressure on the Pokrovsk sector, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Saturday.
