The Global Center for Women's Capacity Building, jointly established by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the China International Development Cooperation Agency, has been inaugurated in Beijing on Tuesday.

It was announced at an unveiling ceremony held on Tuesday that the center will promote capacity building and development practices in the field of women's affairs through cooperation with governments of relevant countries and international organizations, cultivate more outstanding female talents, and contribute to global gender equality and sustainable development.

Aiming to transform more Chinese wisdom and solutions into public goods shared by women worldwide, the center will conduct research and host relevant activities to create an open, cooperative, and shared global platform for exchange and collaboration in women's development. "To gather stronger feminine strength for promoting the global building of a community with a shared future for humanity, we will effectively establish and utilize the Global Center for Women's Capacity Building, pool collective wisdom and strengths, deepen research on women's development cooperation issues, and continue to carry out initiatives such as enhancing female leadership, digital literacy education, and skills training. Together, we will accelerate the new process of women's all-round development," said Li Ying, director of the General Office of the ACWF.
