The seventh China Helicopter Exposition, which is underway in the northern port city Tianjin, opened to the public on Saturday with a stunning aerial show, dazzling aviation fans with the aircraft's superb flying skills.

Among the aircrafts that brought spectacular show to the expo are the Z-10 and Z-20 helicopters from the Fenglei (literally "wind and thunder") aerobatic team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) , which delivered a stunning aerial display to crowds of spectators on the first public day, showcasing their breathtaking performance and maneuverability.

"Though we have seen the helicopter models when watching the military parade on TV on Sept 3, watching their aerial display in person today is awe-inspiring," said a spectator.

"We were eager to see the clash between steel and wind and feel the fighting spirit of the new ground force. The helicopter expo has further strengthened our confidence in the PLA's ability to fight and win battles. We expect it to develop better and better," said anther spectator.

Organizers expect more than 40,000 visitors during the expo's two-day public opening.
