A dedicated exhibition for rural revitalization specialty products has taken center stage during the third phase of the 138th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, currently underway in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province.
The exhibition, named "traditional Chinese specialties," features 258 booths, where more than 230 domestic enterprises showcasing products across 16 categories, including food, sports, and tourism leisure goods.
According to the organizer, the exhibition aims to highlight the diversity and innovation of China's rural industries so as to create greater business opportunities.
The offline exhibition area for rural revitalization specialty products was first introduced at the 130th Canton Fair in 2021.
Since then, the Canton Fair has waived booth fees totaling 110 million yuan for over 4,000 such enterprises, demonstrating its strong commitment to promoting rural development.
The third phase of the 138th Canton Fair, which opened on Oct 31, is expected to end on Tuesday.
Overall, the offline exhibition features approximately 25,000 booths covering a total area of 515,000 square meters.
