At the same time, PUSH announces the appointment of Julie Berger as President, North America, based in Los Angeles. A respected industry leader with more than 20 years of experience across Farmers Insurance, Giant Spoon, Initiative Media, Horizon Media, and GroupM, Berger will oversee PUSH’s operations across all markets, guiding its evolution into the world’s first truly AI-native, human-powered marketing agency.

“This is a pivotal moment for our industry,” said Kyle Verge, Founder and CEO of PUSH Media. “We believe the future of the agency business lives at the intersection of AI, technology, and human brilliance. The acquisition of SCS gives us the scale, talent, and cultural depth to bring that vision to life across North America — to supercharge creativity with intelligence and empower our teams to deliver what technology alone can’t replicate.”

With the SCS acquisition, PUSH doubles its footprint to more than 65 full-time experts, plus 30 contractors and offshore partners, integrating SCS’s creative and cultural legacy with PUSH’s technology-driven approach. SCS, founded in 1985 and recognized repeatedly on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list, brings deep expertise in strategy, creative, influencer marketing, and cultural insight.

The expanded PUSH network now supports clients from coast to coast, including Miele, Vans®, Amy’s Kitchen, Falken Tires, Clover Leaf & Bumble Bee Seafoods and Choice Hotels (Radisson, Quality Inn, etc.). They will be supported through its proprietary PUSHTech™ platform, a suite of 20+ integrated tools that power campaign intelligence, media optimization, and real-time performance insights. PUSH is also developing a proprietary AI marketing operating system, built to redefine how agencies plan, create, and measure marketing effectiveness in a new era of automation and intelligence.

“PUSH is building something that no other independent agency is doing right now,” said Julie Berger, President, North America. “It’s rare to find a company that truly sees AI not as a replacement for people, but as a way to unlock their full potential. I’m thrilled to help bring that vision to market, working with an incredible team that blends creativity, strategy, and technology in ways that move brands forward.”

The acquisition also marks a symbolic milestone: announced on PUSH’s 13th anniversary, it represents the next evolution of an agency that has grown from a Canadian startup into one of North America’s most awarded independents. PUSH has been recognized by The Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies for four consecutive years.

This announcement follows the recent appointment of Gino Cantalini as the agency’s first Chief Brand Officer underscoring PUSH’s investment in senior leadership as it enters its next phase of growth. In addition, James Schiefer now serves as a Board Advisor to PUSH.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 1, 2026--

For years, Susan watched her two children collapse without warning. Episodes of sudden, full-body muscle weakness that came and went — sometimes lasting minutes, sometimes hours. Between episodes, they looked like any other healthy kids. And that was the problem.

Susan, a single mother in a small town in New Zealand, took her children to doctor after doctor. Blood panels came back normal. She was told the symptoms were stress-related. No referrals. No follow-up. No answers.

She was raising two children with a condition no one could name — and carrying the weight of that question alone.

"I watched my children go from running and playing to being unable to stand," Susan said. "Every time I brought them in, the tests said they were fine. I started to feel like the system had decided I was the problem, not their symptoms."

After her own research, Susan ordered Dante Labs Whole Genome Sequencing for both children. The reports identified pathogenic variants associated with periodic paralysis — an ultra-rare inherited condition affecting approximately 1 in 100,000 people. Standard panels test just a few genes. Whole genome sequencing reads the full DNA.

The variants had been there since birth. Undetected.

When Susan brought the reports to her children's medical team, everything changed. Neurologists accepted the findings. Geneticists followed. Her children now have access to the specialists they needed — clinicians working to confirm the findings, identify triggers, and build a management plan.

"For years, no one listened," Susan said. "Now the best specialists are paying attention. Now my kids have a name for what is happening to them — and a medical team that believes it."

"Behind every genome is a person living inside questions that traditional technologies have not yet answered," said Andrea Riposati, co-founder and CEO of Dante Labs. "The genome provides an unbiased view of every person’s code. We built this company for families like hers."

Susan's name has been anonymized to protect her family's privacy.
