HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 18, 2025--

TRG Datacenters, a leading developer and operator of mission-critical digital infrastructure backed by Tallvine Partners, today announced it has broken ground on HOU2, the second data center on its Spring, Texas campus. HOU2 builds on the success of HOU1, delivered in 2018, and will add 24 megawatts of utility capacity to meet strong demand from both existing and prospective customers. The purpose-built, 110,000-square-foot facility is expected to deliver move-in-ready IT capacity as early as Q4 2026.

TRG’s HOU1 data center has achieved 100 percent uptime since going live in 2018, serving more than 160 customers, including multiple Fortune 500 businesses. HOU2 is designed with the same focus on reliability and sustainability, featuring distributed-redundant infrastructure and flexible data halls capable of supporting diverse enterprise, hosting, cloud, and AI requirements.

“TRG’s strong track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure and customer service has brought us to an inflection point, with HOU1 nearly fully subscribed and HOU2 construction underway,” said Christopher Hinkle, CEO of TRG Datacenters. “With secured power capacity on an entitled, operational site that hosts 16 carriers and more than 160 existing clients, the HOU2 expansion provides a level of certainty our existing and prospective customers can rely on in an otherwise supply-constrained U.S. data center market.”

The HOU2 groundbreaking took place on November 14, 2025, and featured industry leaders and project partners such as CenterPoint Energy, Walker Engineering, HTS, Thomas Craig Construction and Encore Concrete Construction.

“This expansion is fully aligned with Tallvine’s organic growth strategy for the TRG platform and follows accelerating customer demand across the business,” said Mark Clark, Partner at Tallvine Partners. “We look forward to supporting TRG’s continued growth in both existing and new markets in the years ahead.”

“TRG Datacenters thanks the sponsors, speakers, and local leaders who joined us in celebrating this important milestone,” commented Bob West, Head of Revenue of TRG Datacenters. “We also extend our appreciation to our customers, vendors, CenterPoint, and Tallvine, and we remain committed to delivering exceptional service and partnership with HOU2.”
