Chinese stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.18 percent to 3,946.74 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed flat at 13,080.09 points.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, rose 0.25 percent to close at 3,076.85 points Wednesday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
