Beijing's Chaoyang District is committed to optimizing government services and spatial layout to better support global enterprises in settling and developing, said an official on Thursday.

Chaoyang District, home to Beijing's Central Business District (CBD) and nearly all foreign embassies in China, is Beijing's primary center for international engagement.

At a press briefing hosted by the China Public Diplomacy Association on Thursday in Beijing, Executive Deputy District Mayor of Chaoyang, Zhao Haidong, spoke to international journalists and welcomed international enterprises to set up in Chaoyang.

According to Zhao, the Chaoyang district government is fully committed to supporting Beijing's development as a world-class, harmonious and livable city and to creating a business-friendly environment for enterprises that is market-oriented, law-based and efficient.

"We have launched the city's first financial services matrix, with nearly 100 percent of district-level government services available online. The future available space across the district exceeds 16 million square meters. Key functional zones, such as the CBD, Jinzhan Central District, Zhongguancun Chaoyang Park, the Olympic Functional Area and the National Cultural and Creative Pilot Zone, complement each other's development, offering businesses diverse options for location and expansion," Zhao said.
