China launches new internet satellite group

China sent a new satellite group into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province on Tuesday.

The satellite group, the 15th group of the country's low-orbit internet satellites, was launched at 06:11 (Beijing Time) aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket and entered its preset orbit successfully.

This marked the 613th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.

Oil prices fell on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for January delivery lost 1.2 U.S. dollars, or 2 percent, to settle at 58.88 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for February delivery dropped 1.26 dollars, or 1.98 percent, to 62.49 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
