Appointments to Rehabilitation Advisory Committee announced

The Government announced today (December 19) the reappointment of the Chairman, the Vice-chairman and 19 incumbent members, as well as the appointment of two new members, namely Mr Terry Lai Ka-wai and Mr Victor Yuen Yui-ching, to the Rehabilitation Advisory Committee (RAC). Their appointments will take effect from January 1, 2026, for a term of two years.

The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Chris Sun, said, "The RAC has been playing an important role in advising the Government on the development of Hong Kong's rehabilitation services. Members reappointed and newly appointed come from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of persons with disabilities and carers to better gauge their needs. I look forward to members' valuable advice on rehabilitation services, with a view to strengthening support for persons with disabilities and building a caring and inclusive community."

  • By post or by hand to the Transport and Logistics Bureau's Drop-in Box No. 6 located at the entrance on 2/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong.The box is available for use between 8am and 7pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays);
  • By fax to 2868 4643; or
  • By email to gazettetlb@tlb.gov.hk.
  • A notice of objection should describe the objector's interest and the manner in which he or she alleges that he or she will be affected by the works or the use. Objectors are requested to provide contact details to facilitate communication. A notice of objection should be delivered to the Secretary for Transport and Logistics not later than February 20, 2026.
