The coast guard of east China's Fujian Province conducted a law enforcement patrol starting Monday in waters off Taiwan Island, the Matsu Islands and the Wuqiu Islands, according to footage released by the China Coast Guard.

The activities were carried out to exercise jurisdiction over Taiwan Island and its affiliated islets in accordance with the one-China principle, according to Zhu Anqing, spokesperson of the East Sea Bureau of the China Coast Guard.

The PLA Eastern Theater Command has released a video titled "Drive Off, Strike, and Reach Far" from a new round of joint military exercises around Taiwan Island.

Multiple forces of the Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) began the drills, code-named "Justice Mission 2025," around Taiwan Island on Monday.

The PLA Eastern Theater Command is dispatching its Army, Navy, Air Force, and Rocket Force troops to conduct drills in the Taiwan Strait and areas to the north, southwest, southeast, and east of Taiwan Island.
