Cherry blossoms attract large number of spring visitors to central China's Henan

Blossoming cherry blossoms are luring tourists to enjoy the picturesque scenes in a park in Xingyang City of central China's Henan Province.

The blossoms in the part are at their finest, with clusters of delicate petals fluttering in the breeze, creating a mesmerizing view of blossoms that blankets the landscape.

"The scenery here is especially beautiful. I came with my family, and I feel very relaxing and joyful today," said Li Shuai, a tourist.

Meanwhile, visitors can participate in traditional cultural activities and have immersive VR experiences, adding extra charm to their spring outing.

"Since the opening of the park, the average number of visitors on weekdays reached 20,000 daily, and the number of visitors on weekends exceeded 80,000 daily," said Song Zhiqian, head of the cherry blossom park.

With more than 120,000 cherry trees, the park covers an area of over 330 hectares and boasts over 80 rare varieties of cherry blossoms. The blossom season is expected to last until the end of April.

Loading of propellant into the Long March 2F Y23 carrier rocket for China's upcoming Shenzhou-23 crewed mission began on Saturday at the launch site of northwest China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

Fuel loading is currently underway and is expected to be completed at 13:00.

Subsequently, oxidizer filling will follow, with all loading operations expected to conclude at 17:00.

The Shenzhou-23 spaceship is scheduled to be launched at 23:08 Sunday (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced on Saturday.

Shenzhou-23 is the seventh crewed mission during the application and development stage of China's space station, and the 40th flight mission of the country's manned space program.
