As temperatures rise, the terraced hills of Tongbai County in Nanyang City of central China's Henan Province have transformed into a sea of pink, with 8,000 hectares of peach blossoms reaching their peak bloom, creating a spectacular spring landscape.
The picturesque landscape has become a magnet for tourists, while local authorities are leveraging the floral spectacle to boost springtime consumption and promote integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism.
In a peach orchard, rows of blossoming trees cascade along the terraced slopes, with their delicate pink flowers swaying gently in the spring breeze. Viewed from above, the soft hues of peach blossoms intermingle with patches of yellow rapeseed flowers and green trees, creating a vibrant, painterly spring wonderland.
To enhance the visitor experience, local organizers have launched a series of cultural events such as live music and dance performances, with dedicated zones showcasing intangible cultural heritage crafts.
"I have never expected the peach blossoms here to be so spectacular. The rolling hills are truly breathtaking. As we continue, we can reach the performance area, where we’ll also find displays of intangible cultural heritage, as well as dough-sculpted peach blossoms — so beautiful and remarkably lifelike," said Xu Yidan, a tourist.
