The nature of China-U.S. economic and trade relations is mutually beneficial, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday.

Guo made the statement in response to a media query on the agricultural trade deals between China and the U.S.

"China-U.S. economic and trade relations are mutually beneficial in nature. The two sides need to jointly implement the key common understandings reached by the two heads of state and provide greater stability for China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation. On your specific question, I'd refer you to competent authorities," said Guo.
