Chinese President Xi Jinping held small-group talks with visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday.

At the invitation of Xi, Putin is on a state visit to China from Tuesday to Wednesday.

This is his 25th visit to China.

Accompanied by Xi, Putin reviewed the guard of honor of the People's Liberation Army and watched a march-past and performances from the military band.
